LIBRARY

The library at CCCS will provide the following:
  1. Reference books and materials that encourage students' research.
  2. Books and materials to encourage Christian morals and values.
  3. Wholesome recreational literature.
  4. Books that model positive character traits.
  5. Books that do NOT include blatant and frequent objectionable language.
  6. A variety of reading levels and student interests.
  7. Books to improve skills of discernment.
  8. Computer programs that are beneficial to supplementing the curriculum such as advanced reader tests.
  9. A wide variety of fiction, nonfiction, and reference materials.
Parents should be aware that not all books selected for the library are Christian books. Parents should be actively involved in assisting CCCS to teach students to critically evaluate what they read.

The CCCS library will accept recommendations and donations. Parents are encouraged to make donations to the library to help to continually increase the amount of information and reading materials CCCS can offer to the students.
