FIELD TRIPS, PARTIES & RETREATS
Field Trips:
When a field trip is scheduled, parents will receive a letter from their child's teacher. This letter will contain specific information about the trip. The letter will have a permission slip that MUST be signed and returned to the teacher. Students will NOT be able to attend a field trip without signed parental permission forms.

Parties:
Three parties are usually scheduled for the school year:

1. Fall Party
2. Christmas Party
3. Valentine Party

You may be contacted to provide something for or help with these special events.

Birthdays are very important to children. We would like to help you celebrate your child's special day. Please arrange with the teacher a week in advance if you wish to have a party. Please keep it simple and arrange the party for the last half hour of the day.

Spiritual Retreat:
Everyone in grades 6 to 12 will be attending Spiritual Retreats. The Middle School and the High School will have separate Retreats. These are very important as a time of spiritual reflection and group bonding. Both Retreats will be mandatory overnight experiences. There will be a workday in the fall for the Middle School and spring for the High School where students are asked to hire themselves to parents, neighbors, church members, or extended relatives to work. The student will not be required to attend school that day, but will be responsible to earn $30 for their labors. This money will be turned in to the school to pay for all the expenses of the Spiritual Retreat.
